Help keep family & friends informed by sharing this article

This fall the Alliance For Just Money (AFJM) sent out its first “cold marketing” mailing. A long-time in development, this marketing campaign was inspired by AFJM Board member Mark Pash, who has two business degrees and insists “the most important task for AFJM is marketing.” We MUST get the money question – and its history and future – on the radar of everyday Americans of all walks of life.

With Mark’s initial outline and underwriting, AFJM brought his vision to life. Input and review from some active AFJM members, the Finance and Fundraising Committee, and co-Managing Directors resulted in a professionally printed and mailed 8-page booklet for newcomers to monetary history, critique, and reform.

The test-market mailing went out in mid-October 2022 to 2,000 households in four upper-income, urban communities in California, Illinois, and New York. This required registering AFJM to fundraise in all three states and establishing a PO Box and bulk-mailing permit for AFJM. These are investments that we trust will pay diverse dividends, in the short term by attracting new subscribers, donors, and members to AFJM. In the longer term, these newcomers may lead AFJM to connect with novel networks. For now, however, we have in mind additional ways to put this 8-page booklet on Just Money Reform to good use, and this is where you come in!

AFJM is now engaged in end-of-year fundraising. You can participate by sending this 8-page booklet to your relatives, friends, colleagues, and neighbors who might have the interest and the means to contribute. In so doing, you will educate them on monetary history, critique, and reform and, hopefully, stimulate them to subscribe to our mailing list.

There are multiple ways you can share this booklet!

  • You can link to the 8-page booklet (https://www.monetaryalliance.org/wp-content/uploads/8-page-Booklet-PDF.pdf) in an email.
  • You can print hard copies to share with others.
  • If you want to distribute numerous hard copies in a professional booklet format, download and share this PRINT file with your local copy center or print shop. Note this file is meant to be printed and machine-folded on higher-quality 17″ x 11″ paper.
  • Or, you can mail AFJM a check (address below) or contribute online, adding a note in the memo line or comment box to say how many hard copies of the booklet you would like sent to you at a rate of 10 for $20. We will then print and mail them to you for distribution.

Besides sending the booklet to those in our personal networks, we can and should all send it to our elected officials. While AFJM’s Legislative Action Committee intends to send this booklet and information on the American Monetary Reform Act to select Congresspeople in early 2023, we need each and every one of us who supports monetary reform to educate our own elected officials at local, state, and federal levels on it. Congress people are most affected by and willing to listen to citizens from their own districts and states.

As a 501(c)(3) organization, AFJM is NOT legally permitted to lobby. But we are free and responsible to educate the public, including our own elected officials, about matters of public interest and policy, and legislation needed to address them. That is what we each must do regarding the money system we have, versus the one we NEED, until we successfully “change our money, change our world.”
