Bo-Young Lim has been an educator for over 25 years, specializing in language acquisition, diversity and leadership training, and peer counselling. She is the co-founder of Community Builders Youth Leadership in Toronto, Canada. For the last 12 years, she has worked with a not-for-profit community organization called the Canadian Centre for Language and Cultural Studies and works closely with new immigrants and refugees, as well as mentoring teachers-in-training. She has presented at the 2017 American Monetary Institute conference in Chicago and at the 2018 International Movement for Monetary Reform meeting in Utrecht, Netherlands on the need to strengthen our social bonds and build coalitions in order to sustain effective activism long-term. She is also a writer and an independent filmmaker.
