Tabitha Enriquez has over two decades of experience in management and three decades as a political activist. In New York, she campaigned for political candidates, worked with economic justice organizations, and did grant writing for environmental nonprofits before moving to New Mexico in 2011.
In 2015, Tabitha decided to go back to school to study Political Science and Economics. She also studied grant writing, fundraising, nonprofit management, and interned with the New Mexico State Legislature.
Tabitha had a series of “a-ha!” moments between 2015 and 2016 that led her to monetary reform. Realizing she was not alone, she followed AMI’s work and then AFJM in 2019. Tabitha was deeply honored to become one of AFJM’s co-Managing Directors in 2021. She believes we cannot achieve social, economic, environmental, and political change until we deal with the broken underlying monetary system.
